I personally use McAfee and never had any problems with it - but some people aren't so keen.

I would also use Norton. It is very popular and I been using it for the last three years now.

Thanks ladygirl. I currantly have Norton and in the past I have had no problem with it, but it seems like it is missing alot of viris'. I have run a couple of the free scans and there have been alot of things it is missing. Thanks for the suggestion though.

NOD32 seems to be the best antivirus program I have used. It has really good spyware protection as well, and it is constantly scanning your Hard Drive. So far it detected much more small spyware and trojans than mcafee and Norton.

Thank you. JoeD2718. Can you tell me who this is made by? I tried to run a search but nothing seem to come up, unless it's under another name. I am really interested because I really need something that picks up more of the spyware and trojans than Norton does. Thanks

I personally use Symantec (Norton) on my laptop, and it works well enough for me.

I would also suggest checking out Avast! Antivirus...it is a free program, and works pretty well. You should be able to find it with Google

I was given Norton for free (thank you university), so I can't complain at the moment. I haven't had any problems yet (knock on wood), but know others have.
