The manual says that the 6900 super will receive DTT on VHF, however, when in the terrestrial menu, the channel choices only run from 21-69. At this location, during the summer VHF from Denmark, Germany, Sweden can ofter cross the sea. Does anyone know how to get the box to look at this band?
Many Thanks. KnockJohn |

No mention of it having a VHF tuner so it won't receive VHF,...the channel numbers you mention 21-69 are the UK UHF channel allocation,...to receive VHF DX Television it needs a VHF tuner,.....

Thanks Siege - but my model says (p51)"170-230MHz and 470-862MHz" the first group are VHF band III. I have figured out that I can reset "CH69" to VHF band III frequencies, but this is not quite as good as the manual on p22 shows, where the top picture shows the Channel CH5 and the Frequency 177.5.
This could well come in handy for a number of people around the coast. |
