Help me please

hello everybody,

Yesterday evening I had exactly the same problem , the Clarke 5000C ordered 2 weeks ago from Germany has blocked himself , a black screen and then appears LOADER and than after +/- 30 minute START-UP and then nothing ....

I'm not a specialialist on this matter and I don't know what to do at all...
I don't even upgraded yet the firmware , just lookes how to do and the the catastrophe , on the middle of the evening...

How to upgrade the firmware if I don't have acces in menu at all ? I understood that it could be done by an USB stick , but if there is no menu and no commands at all ... what to do ?

And , what's happen with the waranty if I'm trying to do this upgrade ? could be better to send it back to them (from Brussel to Germany) ?

You should have started a new thread with your question as it's not going to be seen much tagged onto an older thread.. I've only just spotted it doing some moderating
I will move it to a better position for you

I would suggest you phone your supplier and first ask them if this is 'normal' behaviour for your receiver before you do anything else.. as installing any software will void your warranty
If they give the all-clear to load the patch then continue as follows...

If you don't have it already.. download the Loader software.. and the CORRECT patch for your receiver (the wrong patch will damage it - be warned!)
You can find the loader in the C-Tech tools section


Now 'unzip' the patch and put it somewhere you can find it (eg:desktop)

Switch off your receiver.. connect a null-modem cable from your receiver to your Pc.. and then start the loader.. selecting the Firmware tab (F/W). Now browse to the Patch on your desktop

Hit START on the loader and then then turn on your receiver.. If all is well it should load the patch..
(Alternatively put the Patch onto a usb stick memory and plug it into the receivers usb port and then switch on the receiver)

Once working load the latest softcam.key for your receiver in the same way.. this time selecting the KEY tab on the loader..

Hello, if you have not made any update eil decoder has locked up after only two weeks we strongly recommend that you send to the producer.
The guarantee allows you to replace the receiver in question!
My advice is this.
Take contact with whom you sold the box and you claiming that replacing tew!

Aggree, If with the original firmware you have already a such problem, you would first contact where you purchase it.

Personally, I ordered my CTECH HD Combo 5000 Plus from Germany ( shipper than in France ~100euros ), it is perfect ! used alos with patched firmware and softcam.key files ...
