thanks for that but know i have a new problem i tried to install a new image with dreamup but left the dreambox turned on ...so now it stays on dream multimedia on lcd is this a flash problem and can it be fixed with a cas3 ,,,please tell me i havent wrecked the box !!!PLEASE HELP ME THANKS...

as i am not exactly mr technical i will tell you how my system is set up,

i have a 80 gig hard drive in mine that i use for my image ( multi) and to record on. i have the gemini in the flash but never use it and use the ones i have on my hard drive , the size of the flash on the dm7000s is only 32 meg and i was always led to belive that you could only have one at a time and if you loaded another you had to remove the old one .

i only use dream up to load the image on the flash and on occasions when it has all gone wrong , if you haven't got a hard drive fitted then put one in or at least get a usb stick that are quite cheap at the moment.

i believe the best thing to do is load the basic image on the flash and then another on a hard drive or a usb stick with flash wizard pro, using the image on a hd or usb stick give you the advantage of having a big var folder so you don't get those messages about the var folder being full, also when you load the new image it copies your motor settings etc .

when i am board i try a new image out although it is the hydra or things that are similar i like and to be honest never used the gemini

i have a hardrive on 1 box & usb on the other im tring to sort my own share,,,but i am using newcamd 4 the card but what is the best emu 4 key updates & can i run 2 emus on 1 box at sametime........thanks 4 all the info its been a great help.....

i use a couple of emu although it is mainly on mgcam for a c*rd sh*re although when digi + is avalable i tend to use camd as digi+ on the share dont have the ppv and if you foget and try to use them it messes up the share and crashes the card aparently. sometimes some emu are better for certain channels and you can set up different channels to default to a certain emu.
please dont ask my advice on c*rd sh*ring as i did not set it up and havent a clue , i take it you are trying to share your s*y card between the 2 box's ( as a question you asked in a different post)

i am tring to repair second dreambox with cas3 and when its connected the write box opens ,click write select file gemini image & get a run 53 error message what file to i need to load a new boot...

i have realised my mistake here now & i have loade boot loader with cas3 but when connect to tv i see dreambox is loading please stand by ,,, and nothing happens ..i tried loading new image with null cable & dreamup stops at waiting for acknowledgement then nothing i think its both serial port & network connection just seems strange neither work any ideas on what to do ????thanks
