Not sure exactly what you're trying to do here, but with a d-box:- on your PC you launch flashfxp press f8 in the server box put your dbox ip address with user name root and pass dbox2 you would then navigate to the file and copy it to your PC for editing, then fto it back. The dreambox should be the same with maybe a different password.

I think the screen you are using is to mount a drive from the PC on the dreambox using NIFS or CIFS sharing

I always leave the port as 21, try dreambox as password, if connected the dreambox folders should appear in the flashfxp window

You shouldn't need to change the paswsword, in flashfxp enter the user name root and the password dreambox and connect.

daphney

yes got a dm7000s my self but must admit i am not mr technical, just seam to have a play around and hope for the best

okay

i use dream box control center and ftp most things as the image i use they don't seam to be updating at the moment ( pola light )

get the ip of your box go menu~expert set up~comunication set up

the ip will be on the top

192.168.0. then it may have 1~ 10 , make a not of this number

i dont have dhpc ticked and have enable networks ticked and use port 80.

when i loaded dcc i see 3 things

computer , dreambox ,router

you can go search but i personally fill them in my self , then go conect and all the lines will be green.
then say you download some new keys etc you then go ~

ftp~ var ~ keys

sometimes you may get a full update like the old mary's keys , when you open these there will be 2 folders ~ key' and scce

so ftp them to the relative places ~
the keys go ftp~ var ~ key's and the scce go ftp~var~scce.

i always reboot the box by disconnecting the power and works okay for me

hope this helps

Teddy
