Like the photos can you help me on this:
I seem to be in a pickle. I have a Fortecstar Lifetime II with a Stab HH90 motor. I thought that I had set it up right but if I want to move the dish from 1 satellite to another I have to go into the menu every time. What am I doing wrong please help an idiot. The receiver has USUALS on it but I cant get my head around it. Tell me in lay terms if you can. Much obliged.
Do I set all the satellites needed on USUALS or what, please somebody advice me. If you don’t set them onto USUALS then do you have to set them onto the AUTO A/B/C/D part of the menu. Also underneath the motor settings there is something with 0 & 12 volts on it. What is this used for. Please, please help the idiot as I am stumped by it.

Regards

Unless someone has your receiver it will difficult to answer the first part of your question, you will have to read the manual and try to understand it.

As for the 12V setting, you should ignore this, you don't need to use it.

Please post a screenshot of the ABCD Auto settings, as out of context it i sdifficult to know what they mean, I suspect this is the Diseqc 1.0 settings, but the Fortecs have a funny way of doing things as I recall, I would have thought, that it doesn't matter what you set it to if you have no Diseqc switches in place.

As for USALS, it is very simple.

Disqc1.2 is the control signal sent down the cable to move the motor.

USALS is a software program on the receiver that works out where to send the motor, based on your longitude and latitude. So all you need to do is make sure the receiver knows your longitude and latitude then select your chosen satellite and the dish should point to it. This assumes of course that the dish/motor outside has been set up properly in the first place, as per the guide above.
