With regard to the first part of the question: If the Fortec Lifetime is like the Fortec 5400, there should be a button marked 'sat' somewhere on the remote; pressing this should bring a list of the satellites that have been scanned in and pressing/selecting any of those sats should send the motor to the sat.

[quote=anthony coote;135069]Like the photos can you help me on this:
I seem to be in a pickle. I have a Fortecstar Lifetime II with a Stab HH90 motor. I thought that I had set it up right but if I want to move the dish from 1 satellite to another I have to go into the menu every time. What am I doing wrong please help an idiot. The receiver has USUALS on it but I cant get my head around it. Tell me in lay terms if you can. Much obliged.
Do I set all the satellites needed on USUALS or what, please somebody advice me. If you don’t set them onto USUALS then do you have to set them onto the AUTO A/B/C/D part of the menu. Also underneath the motor settings there is something with 0 & 12 volts on it. What is this used for. Please, please help the idiot as I am stumped by it.

Regards

Anthony Coote

Hi Anthony, I own a Lifetime 11 but failed to set it up with my motor when I tried to set it up out side but I thought I'd cracked it when playing indoors with a short cable, that was before christmas, waiting for better weather on week nights to have another go in a different location.
I found it difficult to master the menu while using the instructions.
I'm going to have another go inside with the short cable and go over it several times B4 going out side.

Keep us posted as I think your the first guy thats posted with one of these receivers, maybe try on the Fortec thread.

Good luck mate********
