Its a pleasure to help, nine kids hey, as you say very time consuming working and being a father, hope the kit works. Enjoyed your banter.

Your motor latitude(elevation),should be set to 38 degrees, according to your location latitude of 52 degrees.
While your dish angle should be 22.5 degrees.

General table for most motors, from the Diseqc Installation Guide.

you'll get the free channels - a few thousand on a motor with even a small dish .. better with a decent 80-1m dish

Yes you could if using USALS, but better to get as close to due south as you can, eg 4.8E or 5W, failing that 9E or 13E.

excellent guide, pointed dish due south, set elevation on motor , inputed long/lat, press for a channel n 28.2 and dish moved and showed channel without any adjustments excellent,

one question in my my dm800 when i click ON satellites
i only have the following

current transponder
astra 2A/2B/2D/EUROBIRD (28.2E) - SERVICES
astra 2A/2B/2D/EUROBIRD (28.2E) - PROVIDERS
astra 2A/2B/2D/EUROBIRD (28.2E) - NEW
