How big a dish size do i need to watch Sky-Uk 28°e in Copenhagen, Denmark

:confused_smile: I'm guessing at 1.5m. The beam is very tight on the UK.

Take a look at the beam strengths on this site here,...3 beams,.. fixed,.north and south beams should all be received easily on a properly setup 1 metre dish

:confused_smile: Nice one Colin! Couldn't remember where those footprints were so I was going from memory. However those maps are for Eurobird at 28·5° not Astra 2D which is here http://www.lyngsat-maps.com/maps/astra2d.html :thumbs_up:

If anyone out there is wondering exactly how big they need their dish then why not try sky cards. simply click on the link then on the homepage go to Project what-dish-size its a new tool designed for people that are unsure about what dish size they need. Also people who already know what size they need can help out just simply contribue to the tool by entering the correct size. I did it and found it really interesting.
