Ok i have both a Golden Interstar GI-801s Xpeed and a Boshmann S1 reciever both plugged into a quad LNB on a motorised setup. But that is about as far as i know how. Obviously both boxes pick up channels as they both have auto search and setup.

I have read about patching the recievers and i have read about keys both are alien to me can anybody tell me if there is any benifit to doing this, where do i find the patches and what do i do with them?
The Interstar has no card slots but has a USB port
The Boshmann has a serial port on the back.

The Boshmann i cant find any info at all on so some help with that would'nt go a miss

If anyone has an idoit guide to all this then i'd love to get hold off it
