Whats the best Image for a Sagem x1 - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Guys and gals,

Just wondered what others thought was the best image to be running on a sagem x1. I have a commando 3 happily running, I have tried Commando 4 with no success. I have tried various Sportster (my favorite as it doesnt crash as often) but cannot find the latest english version.

So any thoughts what others are better or worth a try?

You could try my new image, I've posted a 2x you need to convert it to 1x with imageworks. Then let us know how it goes.

Hi m8,

My box still freezes but i am thinking its the modem being over used.

Been using your image for a week now and is much faster to navigate and use.
All round the best i have come across. Took seconds to convert and worked first time... Some commando's I have had to reload them often...
Even scanned and got a quite a few new channels.

Thanks m8 much appreciated all your hard work.

BTW something I was looking into...

The removal of the modem is well documented and easy to do - the ucodes can be changed from the settings menu, you may also need to check that SPTS mode is set to off
