I'm getting sick and tired of using my touchpad on my laptop, so I think I'm finally going to get a laptop mouse. I would like something small, and preferably cordless. Does anyone have a few (reasonably priced) suggestions?

I think if you're looking at mice then a USB Mouse should be a relatively easy solution? If you, you may especially want to look at wireless mice. And when it comes to brands, try to get Logitech. I've had a few different mice from different vendors, but I'll only buy Logitech these days when it comes to buying mice.

If you want a really good mouse logitech and razer are the best choices. Razer is a little expensive but has internal memory for profiles and really fast DPI for gaming.

I don't know where you live, but if you're in the UK you can get USB mice from Game for £10 for a wired optical mouse or £15 for a wireless optical mouse (including a USB extension to place the receiver in a good place, but doesn't include batteries).

I find that most of the more decent laptop-specific mice are a bit more expensive, unless they have a deal going for them. It really depends on the brand and features you are looking for, I think.

I've had good luck with with a Logitech wireless mouse with the laptop I use when I travel for my employer. I agree, the touchpads on a laptop are not the best fit for me either.
