There had been a famine of new official releases for the CT-5000 Combo and the Plus for sometime, then there was the sequence of new official releases and the p versions stopped. Far from me to suggest that the people who right the code are the same ones and are free agents, so my theory is that whilst being paid good money by CT they stop writing the p code, although dangerous talk costs lives so the relationship between the programmers and the company you can guess are separated for legal reasons.

The question is whether you want decent code that makes the box functional and reliable and get your p functionality from a cam, or whether you prefer p functionality from the box but more unreliable working. I prefer the latter myself after having a sequence of wobbly code for the last 18 months.
