Hi DEANO
Dont know if it helps or not but this is the method i used to set up the eurovox max when i first got it - it may work for you.
EUROVOX MAX SETUP
This is the method I use for setting up the eurovox max box but I have been told that it works for versions 1 and 2 as well

PLEASE NOTE : IF YOU ARE USING A SPLITTER IN YOUR SETUP THIS MUST B E REMOVED for the initial POWERSCAN as the box needs to scan from a pure signal- this will ensure all channels being found. – scanning throught a splitter can result in the loss of 50+ channels.
Firstly before you start to scan the box you need to:-

PRESS MENU
GO TO CONFIG
GO TO CLEAR DATA – IF IT ASKSYOU FOR THE PIN PRESS 0000
SELECT – ERASE ALL CHANNELS
Then it will ask you are you sure so press OK
Then wait a few seconds then press EXIT and EXIT again

What you need to do now is a POWERSCAN.
The following is a step by sep method of carrying it out!

Press the MENU button
Go to INSTALLATION and arrow right to USER INSTALLATION
Type in your pin (normally 0000)
Press the YELLOW button for POWERSCAN and change the mode to FULL from Normal by arrowing right to reveal FULL
Now press OK, this will begin the BRUTEFORCE POWERSCAN which can take up to 40 minutes, but it is guaranteed to find every single channel on the network in your area.

Once done the box will switch to a random channel to indicate it has finished !
You will now have around 240 or more channels (in some cases regions can receive up to 330 channels!)
You now need to switch to a non free channel and let the box update the codes – this could take a minute or two, it will indicate on the screen “updating please wait” once finished all channels will now be unlocked.
That’s it you’re all done … HOWEVER …. If you find that you get no channels at all there is a further adjustment you can make to ensure you get the 250 plus channels that your area box will be able to receive and again it’s quite simple to do!

First press MENU
Then go to USER INSTALLATION
Type in your pin (0000)
Press YELLOW button to POWERSCAN
Then change the mode to NORMAL
Then arrow down to the SYMBOL RATE and if its on 6.952 then change it to 6.887 (or vice versa!!)
Then press OK and it will carry out a scan like the powerscan of before.
If after you have tried this and you still are channels short then keep the symbol rate at the new figure but adjust the scan to FULL and try again.

Red face Re: setting up eurovox max

Hi.
Trying to set up eurovox max via ntl to tele.....and if poss through dvd. having problems and reckon I am doing something wrong with the leads! Message on screen reads 'channel not currently available'. i have done a channel search anyway and it only registers 25 channels, but when i revert at the end, i still have the 'channel not currently available' message. Is there any 'leads genius' out there who could help me out here?
Thanks
