Default new patch

Did you try disconnecting the receiver completely for a few minutes then restarting it..?

Also maybe format the pen-drive and reload the keys and see if that solves it..

Other than that i'm not sure..

Default new patch

Do you realise the 'patch' is to the receivers firmware (operating system) and that any corruption or problem with the patch can affect any part of the way your receiver works..?

If i didn't think it was relevant i wouldn't post random replies.. :not_impressed:

Only thing else i can suggest is you try another usb memory stick

Default new patch

make sure the pendrive is no formatted as ntfs but is fat or fat32.
Also you could load the official tecnomate firmware via a serial cable using the official technomate loader program.

Default new patch

If you have a Null Modem cable you can use the Tm Loader to install the original Tm software available on the Tm website..
[A Null Modem cable is an RS232 Lead with 2 9pin D type connectors
Pins 2 & 3 are transposed (eg: pin2 one end to pin3 the other end & vice versa)]

The Loader is here:-
http://www.satmoz.com/forum/showthre...774#post147774

What you would do is download the original firmware to your Pc and then after connecting the receiver to the Pc with the Null Modem cable. Start the Loader and browse to the firmware and start the upload. Turn the receiver on and it should start to accept the firmware

Having said all of this i think you don't need to do this atm as your receiver is booting up ok
What i suggest is a receiver reset and as suggested by zap8002 format the pendrive to FAT32 before reloading the keys to it
Then see if your receiver can see the file..

If this still doesn't help then take the route as mentioned above to install the original firmware and then check it's all working correctly before then trying to patch again.. and perhaps try the earlier patch first to try and if succesful then try the latest patch again. If then it doesn't work again at least you know the new patch is definitely the problem

Oh btw.. to format the pendrive right-click on it in My Computer and select Format.. and then in the window that opens select FAT32 as the file system..
