STBDaemon works on Technomate series super with ethernet connection

can be used to move files from the USB harddisc over the home netwerk to the computer. ...

find the IP address of your windows computer and take note of it
start the STB Daemon on your windows computer and browse to a folder lets say \Technomate could be anything.
on the TM go in the Main Menu
Select USB (leftside)
Select Filemanger (rightside), press OK
press yellow button(Create)
Type in the IP address of the computer running STBDaemon
You now see Volume of the USB harddisc('s)/USB key(s) and the ip address of the computer.
select the Volume 0 (USB)
select file on the leftside (red button) it should be marked with a X (White, for those seeing it black)
press Menu and make selection copy/move
switch to right
select destination: ip address (could be other volume)
press Menu and make selction Paste
the selected file is now copied over the network to your computer (could be channellist, recording, ...)
This works in both ways.

Start STBDaemon and browse to the folder where you keep the firmware on the computer and press OK

In the Technomate Super goto Main Menu
select System Settings (left side)
select IP Settings (right side) and press OK
press Blue button (Firmware Update)
press Blue button (Edit)
enter IP address for computer running STBDaemon
File list opens, select latest .STB firmware and press OK
The firmware is written in to the Technomate.

when finished the Technomate should reboot by itself.
Don't power off Technomate or Computer while flashing the Technomate
