Tony there is very little Packet only software on the go nowadays,....most of the s/ware available is multi-mode i.e. it does rtty,psk,cw,sstv etc etc,...no need for a separate modem either,..you use the PC's soundcard for Rx and Tx,.....I will post a couple of different things for you to try,....regards

I do have a lot of software but all more than 10yrs old now..
I made a modem with opto-isolated input & output & inverter switch.. also with bargraph display for balancing the rtty but i guess it is redundant from Xp onwards..

I actually built it for the old spectrum and still have all the old stuff like that in the loft..

P.s. just got my old Yaesu FT dx 401 from my nephews loft.. Been there for around 10 yrs now.. 500w input on ssb :teeth_smile:
