well hope someone can help us out here :-D,
what it is , is recently i set my dish so i can get telesport @ 39 east , so i thought i would go a bit further to 42 east, so drive it to 39e, pick a strong transponder on 42 e then drive it east with the remote control, the dish don't seam to be moving ?? and the signal strength not changing, now here is the funny thing ~ when i stop trying to drive it east the dish starts going west then it goes east and stops on 39 e all i can think of is there must be a east/west setting ?? and if so how do i sort it , or is it something else thanx in advance Teddy |

hi teddy, have you tried a master reset, or looked in the receiver menu and reset the dish limits, you might have the east limit set just past 39e. on one motor i had you could extend the limits with a adjuster ratchet on the side of the motor. |

dont think there is a east or west setting on the motor as shaw it use to go further when i had it connected with the card, it is not a 36 volt motor but the disec ones that does the job, also the dish could physicaly move the full ark as there is nothing to stop the dish.
the reciver i have is a dreambox dm7000s if anybody could advise thanx Teddy |

I've no experience of the dreambox at all, most motors do have a mechanical east/west limit setting inside though.

lincsat
when i first got my system it was a package deal and to be fair i did not know much about them, i orded a motor for a 1.2 mtr dish although when the engineer came he brought a different motor and said it would be better for my 1.1 mtr dish , me not knowing anything said ok and 3 month down the line relised the motor was one for a 1 mtr dish lol what a con , over time i become friends with people from the place i got the sat from and even done a lot of work on their forum with over 4700 post although i know them for what they are now. i do like comming here although it is a bit quiet and will always try to help others out as i have been helped well who would of thought the reason my dish did not move was becouse of the so called strong transponder lol ok now i have 2 alternatives for the footy and lets see if there are more Teddy |
