Andrew

Not all stbs are the same but....

Load frequency 11996h,,, sr 27500,,, fec 3/4 ,,,dvb-s ( qpsk ) into the advanced search mode,, save it,,, goto antenne click on that,, scroll down to edit antenne,, click on that,,, now shows motor setting,,click on that,,, scroll to motor driving click on that,,, select step click on that,, change step value to 10 press save,,, goto go to stored position,,, then have option e or w choose w,, then drive the dish to the west till you get a signal,, goto store current position click , then do a search,, Vision norway should be in there,,, if so then save that channel for reference,,,,

Good luck

Regards skomedal

Andrew are you using

Code:
DiSEqC 1.2 menu (Manual positioner)
If your using DiSEqC 1.2 you will need to do the following
I think all the channels you say are in location 4.8E you are actually scanning Astra1 19.2E i would recomend you delete these first, then do the following

CHANNEL SEARCH: Manual Scan and Search
Configure Channel Search as described go to Positioner and select DiSEqC 1.2.
Move the antenna until you find the correct position, maximum signal and quality and store the position
START: Press OK to start search.

Or
Code:
DiSEqC USALS menu (Automatic positioner)

Hi compass thanks for your help. I plan on moving the dish at some time which may help as I have a tree at the top of the garden this restricts my viewing in the summer because of the leaves so have to wait till winter to pick up sats. Not using disq use polor mount with jack arm builtin the one with 36v motor manhattan receiver with builtin positioner it's about the easier one that i find to use.

thanks Andrew
