I have a Eurovox Max V3 and I can't get it to switch on out of standby mode. If I use either the remote control or the button on the front of it the box switches off, resets and goes back to standby.

Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem??

Any help would be much appreciated.

This sounds like a firmware fault. Have heard of someone with this fault before. Its something to do with the remote setting on the firmware that have gone wrong. Easily fixed with a firmware flash.

I had read on other posts that this was possibly a firmware problem.

What equipment do I need to do a firmware flash and what software is involved?

Hi again!

Thanks for giving me the update program but I am still having problems.

Do I need to use a 25-pin to 9-pin cable or 9-pin to 9-pin cable? Also, I don't have access to the firmware software as my box didnt come with a disc so do you know where I could download the software from?

Help would be much appreciated again.

hi dave i have the euro vox max v3 but it went into looking for codes and stayed there.i have cleared data reset factory settings and only got 35 channels is there any software that i need and how would i install .
