if the scan dosnt work take a note of the frequency the channels are on (top left on the info bar) then you can manually add these frequencies to your box, post back and will tell you how to do it

Took my box down to my daughters but it made no difference, still can't get the channels she has! The missing channels are sky sports extra,Disney, Disney 1 and Disney Cinema all on frequency 515 Rangers T.V. frequency 587 and Liverpool T.V. frequency 587. If you can give me the information on how to add them manually, that will be great. Thanks in advance.

Go into installation go down to your last tansponder (about 30).press "channel edit" (green button)
press red for "add" type in the next channel number eg 0031, press down and type in your new frequency eg 515.000,
down again enter your symbol rate (probably 6952 or 6887).press ok to save, then on your list of frequencys go to the new 1 and press ok,a tick should appear then press blue for manual scan.thats it
then do the same for 587.000 and you should have the channels

Hi, I have an Eurovox Max 3. It has been working OK until about two weeks ago. Suddenly the remote stopped working. Thinking the remote is faulty bought a new one from Ebay. No Joy. Checked with a digital camera and discovered both remotes are fine.

Reading through this thread, learnt that a reboot and re-flashing may cure the problem. But I do not have the software/firmware for the box. Therefore, please can somebody send me the software and any loader program I may need. Alternately, send me a link where I may find them.

Thanks a lot.

If people care to look other places in the forum then they would find the answers WITHOUT THE NEED TO ASK THE QUESTION AGAIN!

Yes as above.. Please make use of the 'search' facility and you should get your answer quicker... you will need a RS232 Null moden serial cable to connect the box to the serial post of the pc
