Ok done that, when i click update channels it says no transponder to scan. I have a gud connection as my starview picks up all channels and it uses transponder 6952. Any other ideas??

Have you done a powerscan using 6952 first, as this finds your TPs, then you use the red button in user installation to update channels. Do this from the direct feed, take away any splitters and put the coax in the RF In socket on the back of the EV.

1st Post, so hello all. some thing to try and remember is always set your box up on a good known cable, you may find that Mr cable installer was running late for his next time slot and rushed your install, you know the cable that go`s to ya back bed room has a bad F connecter.lol, do it in the front room and go past all slitters and run cable from wall into box, a bad cable can make you mise low mid or high channels, may explain why peaple only get some channels.

Heyho,I have just fitted a eurovox max v 2008 box, uploaded channels and told to wait, screen goe's black and informs me that it is updating, then screen tells me service unknown. have tried to update again and it repeats the same problem, how can service be unknown if it registers the channels.
any ideas
