Hi everyone,
I am having a very strange problem with mt EuroVox MaxV using N*L in the dublin area, and i was hoping for some help. Up to recently everything was running fine 139 channels all good. However recently when i would be watching something like sky 1 the channel would just hang. The only channel i could actually watch was channel 6. So i update the channels - all the channels are returned but again the only channel that displays is channel 6. Alll 139 channels are returned by both update and powersearch. All the radio channels work fine...... Even tried pulling the plug on the box, but still no luck. Anyone have any idea's. Thanks, zekerryman |

I have 2 boxes, one a blue 2006, the other a max, both went today at half 5, in Dublin on n*l, have been in touch with others who have boxes, noone has the usual channels, just euronews, ch. 6 and RTE 1. I was told last week by someone in the know that
N*l ere scrambling frequencys, and sending threatening letters to people who have complained about their basic cable connection, trying to fish out those with boxes, I know this doesent help anyone missing the box (including me) but just be wary, I' m sure someone will come up with a solution, Ive been trying since half 5 - not there yet though!Last edited by dino; 04-04-08 at 03:47 AM. |

Do you mean you changed the port no. but it still can't find the box?
I have to admit that I could never get a USB to Serial Adaptor to work with my null modem cable and ended up buying a PCI card for my PC. There is an open thread about 6 down in this forum that might help you though ![]() |
