i take it the cable running upstairs in pluged in the right hole?

yes, the cable is connected into the RF In connector at the back of the euro-vox.
I dont know if the remote is broken? If I set the thing up wrong which im pretty sure i havent should i not still be able to access the menu from the remote... just seems a bit strange that nothing is happening?

check your remote by looking through a mobile phone camera, the sensors should light up when you press a button,if they dont your remotes knackered

Move the virgin box upstairs to make sure the cable is ok and test Eurovox downstairs hope this helps

Hello all,i'm dino, completly new to any technology-got a euro-vox max, hit the factory default, now the screen has all 0's, cant get any ch. no's. Can anyone please help, dont have a null cable.

done all that, its saying no transponponder,cant get any ch.no's to scan.

Before you do a powerscan switch the symbol rates - switch between 6887 & 6952. This can only be changed when the scan setting is Normal.
