Remove lid from faulty box and locate reset button.
Connect both boxes with null modem cable.

1. program code download
2. channel data download
program download should show.
press reset button on faulty box and wait a moment to see if dnld shows in display, might have to try a few times for it to catch or need to press OK on remote. Should start to download and when complete box will be restored.

Guys im trying to restore another box with the guide above but when i go into system info and press 1698 it just takes me out of the setup...

Any other solutions on how i can sort this problem out.?

Hi just downloaded the firmware fix for the blue clone boxes and it comes as a bin file do i need a downloader software to write it to my box?

please can anyone help me with how to change my keys in the main menu? my eurovox 2007 box picks up all the channels but does not display the picture! this happened to me last week as well

There are two places you can download the firmware from either the bigMAQ toolbar under the Updates/Fixes icon (if you don't have bigMAQ then google 'bigMAQ toolbar' and instal it).

Or from the download section on this forum - go to UK Cable/Private FTA and read the first sticky there.

For the genuine blue and red boxes no loader tool is needed. If you have a blue clone then you will need dnupman which can also be found in the download section here along with tutorials for how to use it

Can anyone help me please?

I have a eurovox max blue. All the channels scrambled last week but I managed to recover them by going onto language setting keying in 1968 etc and putting in the new codes which worked ok.
They scrambled again a week later and the language settings keying 1968 etc did not work.
I was then told to clear all channels and select factory setting which has taken away all of the channels which I cannot get back.
When I scan, it goes through the 770 channels as normal but nothing is there at the end.
My eurovox reads 0000 and I cannot get any channels at all.
I am not technically minded but would appreciate some help.

You need to upgrade the firmware on your box, have a look here

Google the 'bigMAQ toolbar', install it and under the Updates/Fixes icon you'll find the update for your box

Then when you re-connect your box to the tv, treat it as if it is a brand new box being connected for the first time i.e. Clear Data/Factory Settings/select your Symbol Rate and do a Full Scan
