will eurovax work for me, i only got VM (cable connection) or do u need to set up a dish in order for it to work?

as long as you have either broadband or TV package (or even a live cable feed) the eurovox,starview,kryptview etc will all work
these are cable boxes and do not require a dish

Thanks to all in this forum - it has been invaluable over the last 12 months. This morning, there was a roll on VM and despite having added firmware for Eurovox Max red 21/04/08, I rrived home to find all channels showing "Please wait channel being updated" blah blah blah. An auto scan did not solve, nor a power scan, only by entering latest key have I got going. Anyone any ideas? Is the firmware Ok?

turning emmulation on may be the answer

go into Menu...language settings...OK...enter 1968
you will get 2 extra options emm and emmulation capture
enable both options

to test if this works change one of your k**s and see if it then automatically updates

hi can anybody help iv got a eurovox for my mate it works great in my house. but
keeps coming up with the word no signal, yet the original boxes ntl work ok, he lives right next to an ntl box has this got anything to do with itive notices he has a cable simulator 4db forward path and an aternator 3db also plugged into his cable boxes ive tried these on the eurovox but no use would be gratful of any information or help...

Hi ive just bought a eurovox tx box, and not sure how to flash it, sorry if its s stupid question, any help would be appreciated,i live in ireland so not sure if that matters in a chorus mmds area

Yes it will work on VM coaxial BB, just use a good quality splitter.
