I fixed it by doing the "Clear Data" then doing a power scan with the following settings: Mode=Normal Start=100 (339 would do though) End=880 (770 would suffice) Symbol Rate=6.887 (This is for NTL from what I've read) Symbol Rate=6.952 (This is for Telewest methinks - no harm in using both) Step=8 Good luck. |

How To Change The Eurovox Channel Listing Using DnUpMan
Do this after you have done a power scan Connect your null modem cable to your eurovx and switch it on Open DnUpMan Go to Channel Data and press Upload you will then get a "save as" box asking you to name your file and select the location you wish to save it to (desktop is as good as any). you will notice that the path to your newly uploaded file will be shown in Channel Data text box. Once you have completed this you can the select edit button this will open a new window...you need to press the "CH List" button as this will open the channel list in its current order. to move the channels all you do is left click and hold until you have moved them into the position required. Then press apply to save your ammended listings. Close the Channel list box then press exit you will be prompted to save your modified data...press yes and it will retun to the main DnUpMan user interface. In Channel data press download to send the ammended channel list back to the eurovox. DO NOT SWITCH OF THE EUROVOX UNTILL THE LCD HAS RESET ON THE FRONT OF THE BOX. Once the lcd has flashed and reset the channel listing change is complete. Hope it helps tut found from another forum resepect 'dogs' |

Hi, im about to buy a eurovox box to attempt to gain all freeveiw and cable channels, i.e sky sports , sky movies. Could anyone please inform me if they know of how to set these boxes up. Also do i need an existing cable/satalite tv package subscription, with basic package to acheive my sky channels. Or does it just simply work like a freeveiw box. Regards

you will need an existing cable package, even the basic one will do. As regards setting them up it all depends on which part of the country you are in, which frequencies you use.i.e the 2 symbolrates are 6.887 or 6.952, I think most use 6.887. I am also under region 8 (I stay in Glasgow).Usually once you do your first power scan the box will kick in and work out the region and symbols for itself. You should also get simplified instructions with your box.

madedrus01, if you have broadband cable you can use it to set up and run eurovox, buy a good splitter then hook them both up.I would recomend you set euro up with your main cable then use splitter to feed both.
