Damn, this I'd like to test!!!:tounge_smile: I have a few quick Qs:

1) Which processor/chipset does it use? This is important re. various formats that it can play...

2) How much, what kind and which memory exactly does it have?

3) Which tuners are built-in? Also, why do they not support 1080p? Is HW-based blindscan fully operational, so one does NOT need to give it SR or any other parameter, before it can search? PiP working well?

4) Does it have HW-based multimedia streaming or only plug-ins based, sort of "stuck on top"? Indeed, does it have the streaming option ([W]LAN and USB/eSATA)?

5) Is eSATA port working well [tested] for an external HDD when one watches films? Btw, I can't see one on the photos... Is it the one inside, where the HDD caddy plug in or...?

6) Which formats [and at which bitrates] can it play: video, audio, photo? Can it play all the formats and bitrates not only from internal/external HDD but also USB memory stick?

7) Does it all work WELL, without stuttering or freezes, streaming-wise, too: from a PC/laptop/NAS drive?

8) Which OS does it use? If it is Linux - are they allowing the hobbyists to use all the necessary tools for developing FW/SW for it?

9) NewCS + CCcam is a complete Card Reader/Server + Client package, working flawlessly with all cards or some or even many have "hiccups" while working?

10) Some state 1 and some state 2 built-in card readers? Which is it and why the discrepancy? Another "semi-product" hitting the high street or...?!?

11) Any other Emus/CS SW available for it?

12) How about plug-ins and tools [like Channel list editor] for it: any available?

13) It has only 16 Favs? How come?

14) Which teams are writing for this machine?

15) Is DiSEqC 1.1 fully operational [up to 64 LNBs]?!? Twin sat TV tuner means one could easily need 32 or more LNBs with a Toroidal dish and 16 Twin LNBs!

From what little I "understand":

1) It has to have an Operating System... Windows-based, OS21, Linux: what is it, that is the question?!?

2) It can not have just a bit more HW, when the rec you mention is Combo. This one is declared a triple tuner, whereby you can record multiple channels while watching yet another channel.

not user accessable OS and not Windows

you can watch a 2nd channel while recording another one on the same transponder on 6900 HD Super, it has a 2nd DVB-S2 tuner.
