Unhappy cannot find channels

i have a eurovox max 3 which is up and running on ntl but i cannot get my sony rdx860 hdd\dvd to pick up the channels

can somebody help me out please i'm going bald trying to figure it out

also is it true that nlt has talk back on there box so it needs to be left connected

Not sure about the dvd thing sounds like you may have setup cables incorrect or even a faulty cable?

As for talk back yes the NTL boxes do use feedback - so if you are paying for a TV package you still need to keep your NTL box setup to talk back.

How have you connected the sony to the Eurovox, have you used a scart cable?

hi

have used scart and coax even treid with different scarts and configs but nothing seems to work

have std tv on avi and eurovox on av2 at momment

but dvd recorder still cannot pick up from eurovox

Does the Sony have 2 scarts? - try connecting the eurovox to scart2 and the TV to scart1, then tell the sony to record from AV2

I think you can change the output on the box to pal - RGB etc might need to be RGB for recorders, would have a look but mrs is watching it - sleeping dogs lie and all that
