ok have been with these for a year or so and had one problem, lost my account details etc, so loads of emails and trying to get throug on the phone and getting know where , so decide to cancell as dont belive i am geting a good service and was costing too much.
dont know why i went for a unlimited downlod as i could never suss out ( you know this bit torrent/ rapid shar etc) it was costing me £23.49/ month for 1 meg un capped , so i rang to cancell and they said

you have never used a gig in a month so a capped would be better for you, so i will put you on a 2 meg / 15 gig cap @£14.99, you will get your origanal month in advance @£23.49 back plus 1 month free

sounds good i thought ( oh yes got my account details as well) , well 3 month on and no refund or month free and loads of emails and trying to phone , then they say this

I have looked into your account and can confirm that your free months service will be valid from 28/12/06 until 27/01/07. I can also confirm that no pro-rata refund is due as there is no overlapping of invoices on your account during your re-grade.


0h yes i also find that they recon i have singed up for a further 12 months contrac, they never tod me this and i knew nothing about it, so i say you you never said this and i want to cancell, you have fed bee a load of bull and you do ow me this money and i want to cancell and this is what they say

Pipexso as far as i can see, can cancell but pay for the service, dont get the money back they owd me if fact fed me a load of bull and conned me.

so what is this it, am i stuffed with this , you must laugh as i must sound so gulable but feel conned,

DONT BELIVE THEM AND WHEN I CAN GO I WILL

but hay they have got my money and when i cancell there will always be others

yes not too happy with pipex and the sooner i can move the better

the nets very slow for me and it is saying that speed 11 mb/second so that is one meg ? not the two 2 meg it is supose to be lol

I am with Tiscali, so far no problems, I have up to 8 meg and get 6 meg, although my dl stops at about 500k, but thays enough .

However I am still trying to get money back from Bulldog, which HAS to be worse that pipex (thinking about it, didn't they take over bulldog) but I have been waiting 7 months for £70 to be repaid. I have finally made a proper complaint, so hopefully soon, if not I will be calling their head office and getting a response that way.

i agree pipex are in my view the worst isp i was with them for over 2 years and had nothing but trouble. cust reps where rude and really couldn't care one man i spoke to sounded like a typical "chav" from a council estate and spoke to me in such manner aswell! constant disconnection, always slow... tried leaving and obtaining my mac code it took them 3 months to give me it!

People beware keep a very very wide birth from pipex

lol, another happy customer. A little update, I (hopefully will be getting my money back! YAY). Hopefully they will be sorting that MAC thing out!!!

lol good luck it will be like getting blood from a stone! Also when u do eventually get you mac last i knew it expires after a month which pipex lovingly forgot to tell me so migrate as soon as u can! and dont do what i did and go on a 3 week holiday expecting to sort it all out when i got back... Aghh i hate pipex!!
