just joined the site had a eurovox max for 2 months but it is now stuck in standby mode wondered if anyone might be able to help thanks

Can you not switch the box on at all from standby mode?

I had the same problem. Had to do a firmware update.

thanks for replying have been looking for firmware but cant seem to find it not even sure what it is. I cant switch switch the box on it only remains on standby with the red light on thanks again for any help you could give me

my eurovox 3 (blue 2006) is stuck in standby i have no software for it can you give me any info please

Once it goes into standby mode or dead mode the only way back is to Jtag it.

You will need a Jtag lead (fleaBay sell them, around $15 each), a Tsop file for your box (Blue, Red or Black) and have a look at one of the posts explaining how to Jtag a box.

Or take case off and check the capacitors, mainly the green and gold one on the power board, if its bulging at the top then it needs replacing and all the jtagging in the world wont fix it (i found out the hard way after 2 weeks of pulling my hair out)

is a jtag lead the same as rs232 lead i have one of them
