Default Eurovox max 3 possibly

Hi guys, this is my first post so hello.I'm looking to buy the said product but there seems to be alot of [updating software this and update firmware that]discussions. As i've looked around the net to buy one they all seem to be advertised that there all programmed with the latest software and are auto updating so there is nothing to do except scan for the channels and view.Or am i just being naive.Any help and advice on the eurovox max 3 with maybe support required after installation would be appreciated.

You should just plug, scan and play - the dbox2 is better supported with more facilities and updates.

Have had mine for almost a year and not had to change a thing, I just do an autoscan every now and then just to check for new channels or get a Box Office.

The Eurovox is the one to buy with new/s/ware installed, all boxes went down but this is the first problem in 3 years, all up and running again.

The ArNet Kryptview seems handy enough (don't own one myself). They were the first to release the fix for this problem
