Default Gillette spying on people?

Did anyone happen to hear anything about this? I guess Gillette has put these really tiny camera type things that will take a picture of you when you pick up there products off the shelf? I heard something in the middle of the night on TV about this. But I was sleeping and only caught bits and pieces of the newcast. And no I wasn't dreaming it.

I never heard anything about this. Would it even be feasible? If so, I'd expect this to only happen in the larger stores. Still creepy that this could even be a possibility.

I was hoping someone on here would have heard of this. I am going to google it and see if I can find anything on it. If I find anything I will let you know. It's bugging me now.

I've not heard about this and I can't help but wonder - what good would the data be anyway? Not everyone who busy Gilletter products is buying for themselves. And how many of us dress to go to the market? so they can't really get a feel for economic demographics from this. Has anyone checked this out at snopes.com to see if it is an urban legend?

I must be in the minority here...I couldn't care less if they snap a picture of me or not.

I actually completely forgot about this. I understand what your saying Lyric but I just wonder why they feel the need to take your picture in the first place? I never thought about checking snopes.com. I forget about that site all the time.

Snopes.com is often a good place to look up stuff that you never even knew there was some sort of urban legend about. It can be quite entertaining.
