Default SeeSaw to test launch today

SeeSaw to test launch today--January 26, 2010

The online TV platform that has grown from the ashes of Project Kangaroo, SeeSaw, is expected to begin a test launch today with a view to launch fully by March.

The test launch will initially be a closed trial, with invitations being sent out to prospective users over the course of the month until the figure reaches around ten thousand.

The aim for SeeSaw is to offer something in the region of three and half thousand hours of content, which will consist of free content that is supported through advertising and pay per view content, this will mainly apply to US programming.

It is not entirely clear where the UK content will be coming from, although it is believed that there are agreements in place with Channel Four and Five.
