Dolby Digital Sound - Techwatch: Satellite TV forums, FTA, Cable, Hardware, & Tech forums

Any one know if i should be getting dolby digital sound on my DBox. I got commando 6 image. I never get the Dolby indecator up onscreen and my amp dont switch to Dolby Digital, it is always pro logic. I am using the Optical cable into my amp.

AIUI, cable does not use DD except on the BBC HD channel which you can't get with a dbox anyway.
