Still didn't solve the problem i ran into, My Samsung still won't accept a Net10 SIm even after being unlocked, i get a "SIM Crash" error message....anyway to fix that? or should i just let the phone collect dust..

I'm not sure about the nokia, but I was able to unlock my
samsung x495 using this procedure:

You need a sim from another carrier for this to work:

1) Insert Incorrect Sim
2) Enter *7465625*638*00000000*00000000# (wrong sim message again)
3) NEXT ENTER #7465625*638*00000000# (wrong sim message again)
4) NEXT ENTER *#7465625# (You should get the following lock status)

network lock - inactive (if this is ACTIVE, try the above code again)
subset lock - inactive
sp lock - inactive
cp lock - inactive
sim lock - inactive
activa lock - inactive
phone lock - inactive
auto network - inactive
auto subset lock - inactive
auto sp lock - inactive
auto cp lock - inactive
auto sim lock - inactive

Now your samsung x495 should be unlocked Permanently.
