Eurovox Max Picture/Sound Problem

heloo can someone help me plzz

i just orderd a eurovox max (2008) off ebay and i was wondering can you scan with the splitter in or does it have to be out? and if it has t b out wen you put it in will the channels just b there or wat??????

hi all
got the eurovox a few days ago after a few hours and help from this thread i got everything working great
now my problem when i got up this morning the remote wouldnt work
i changed batteries no good i can change channels on the box ch(up) ch(down) has anyone else had this problem/is it possible to get a new remote

check your remote through a digital camera phone and the sensor should light up when you press a button, if it does then youve probably got a faulty box and return it to your supplier

returning not an option box cant be bought legally
my brother has a box as well i tried my remote wont work on his box so i think the problem is with remote
i was going to try one of the universal remotes anyone ever tried this

have you flashed the box? Maybe it has been flashed with the wrong software which the remote wont work

Could anybody assist me on the best frequency to search when doing one of them owld power scans please, done a couple of normal channel updates and got bbc1 bout 30 times! was wondering if a powerscan would pick up more frankie vaughan channels kind regards!

hey ppl hope every1 is doin fine need some advice (surprise surprise) have just got a eurovox max from a mate, it seems to have the latest software installed but on doing a power scan it finds nothing, no channels, no transponders i have used factory default to the symbol rate for ex txxxxxt area now vxxxxn 6952 but still no joy, can anyone help? thanks

I cant see an answer to this question and I am thinking of buying a Eurovox 2008. My TV is not digital and was wondering if I could have probs when I boughr.

Hi salfordal

Your neither your TV nor your cablefeed need to be digital. Both of mine are analogue and the Eurovox works a treat
