missing channels

can anyone help i am missing 30 odd channels that i got originally - just says waiting to update. ihave no software or do not have the site to access software. I have a Euro-vox max digital cable receiver.

Plenty people in the same position and theres plenty tips and ideas on how to go about scanning and finding the full channels or as much as possible, just have a read thru it
