Apologies for the issues with the server earlier - there were problems with over loading the server making backups and transferring large files during normal peak times, but I'm afraid I couldn't get the Satmoz merger timed for the weekend.

In the meantime, all Satmoz members and forums have been merged into TW - however, the Satmoz boards are not currently visible as we need to sort out through them and move threads into existing boards, and create new boards where required.

It's going to take a lot of sorting out.

One problem is that I couldn't solve the problem of importing Satmoz user avatars - I ended up having to import Satmoz into a custom SMF install due to problems with the vbulletin importer. In layman's terms, it was a helluva job in the first place, and not something I want to repeat for a long time.

In the meantime, I'll let the mods here know that the merger is complete so we can all get moving the relevant Satmoz content into the relevant boards as required.

As the Satmoz moderator team were not automatically imported as moderators, I'll have to go through and make each of those mods manually.

In the meantime, there should be no further disruptions to Techwatch, and we've just become one of the biggest satellite and technology forums in the UK - and once we've sorted out the threads and boards just imported, we'll actually look it.

I'm not going to do a mass mailing until we've sorted out things a bit better, but in the meantime, if anyone from Satmoz drops by while tidying up, welcome to your new home - I sincerely hope we can make you feel as at home here as you felt before.

Ive just been having a look at the satmoz stuff - some interesting stuff in there but will need a hell of a lot of work doing in it!
