newbie question

i guys this is my first post in this section, im relly not big in to computers and laptops as anthing i need its pretty much basic enough and its all here on the site, but guys look up my ip address and they can tell me where i live ,(well within a 50 mile of) i hard about static and private ip address , anyway can and how do i change my ip to static ip and can i hide or use private ip, again i dont no much about this, so if i dont make sence,, im sorry

You need to go into the DNS setting and change evrything, you also need to go into the command prompt page and get ur settings from there.

I do this for port forwarding. for faster utorrent speeds


google it and learn :-)

why u bothered about people knowing ur ip address it keeps the community safe ??
