Sky Deal Query

On Saturday 27th march i phoned sky and said i would take them up on the offer which includes:

12 months free hd subscription
12 months half price package
free hd box & install

The advisor put me on hold for two ticks and when she came back she says yes i can put that threw for you and gave me an install date for this coming Thursday 1st April which i agreed to before putting the call down i made her verify what i was getting and she read the above so all was good.

Yesterday just randomly i logged in to "My Sky" online to check the status of my account and its all down for Thursday but when i clicked the billing tab I see the deal only says for 6 months and not the full 12?

So I instantly phone sky to say wtf you playing at i didn't agree on this they check the account and it says 6 months etc the advisor on the phone said he will put it threw to complaints they will investigate and listen to call and come back to me. He said if its in the call that it was agreed on 12 months then you will get that.

And in the call the lady did say 12 months i made her verify it a number of times so if it goes that way i should get what i was told and that was the 12 months deal.

End of the day i have not done anything wrong she offered me and i agreed to it right?

if i was you mate i wouldnt even moan at 6 months its all good and im sure if you are right they will honour there agreement.

it still a good deal but 12 months was even better and that's what i was offered so i want it lol. well its all coming tomorrow hopefully.

are you a hd subscriber ? i was reading around and peepz saying that the normal channels are kinda **** on a hd box any truth behind this?

No mate you will be getting one of the newer model boxes, so cant say about earlier versions, yes you can be notice the difference between the HD channels and the normal channels, which is why I dont moan about subscribing to the HD channels.:-)

TBH with you i love my sky box and the channels.

I remember when I went to a friends house and i seen his Tv i mentioned about it and he said he cant tell the difference between non HD and HD what aload of rubbish. You will love it.

And there is more hd channels coming soon. Sky news sky sports 4 etc etc way more than virgin media.

An where the only lucky ones who can receive ITV HD at the mo, but when you get your box you will have to input the frequency (or ask engineer)

amstrad m8, nice looking box, wouldnt have samsung amstrad been doing them for so many years.

just put itv hd on and now it seems to be broadcasting every other channel

the channel still isnt integrated into the tvguide yet but all good.

Wait a few days for ITV HD. It will be on the epg by the beginning of next week.
