Default Box just showing 0, 2 or 3

Hi Can someone please help me out. Just got home from work and my A700C box was turned on just showing a blank screen. Not concerned as the box freezes all the time and just needs to be turned off / on at the wall. Did that - but now shows a number when turned on. Sometimes it's just 0, or 2 or 3 - this is on the box display - the TV it self if just green. My legit box is showing TV fine, no Nag 3 cards yet out for my area. Any ideas how to fix? Just pulled the plug from the wall and left for 30 minutes - still the same problem when turned back on. Please help. Rich

Thanks guys - not really sure what Jtagging it but managed to sort it out. Seems the firmware got corrupt somehow. Bit of a trial and error as I couldn't get to channel 0000 and press the red buttons like all the instructions of flashing the firmware mentions. However seems if you press send on your laptop and then turn on the box it will auto check the com port for a new firmware and then install from there. Took a while but all scanned and working great. Even sorts out some of my channels which were old and not working anymore. What would cause the firmware to fail like that? Seems very iffy - just think if that was common. DVD's and consoles failing all the time! Rich
