Need some advice from you experts...

I have a PC that i would like internet access, it doesn't have a wireless card, it was connected to the net via the ethernet cable...

now the PC has moved to another room.

Just wondering what is the best way to connect the PC to the Internet...

You've got two options;

1. Assuming your router/modem has wireless capability, then buy a wireless card for the PC
2. Run an ethernet cable from the router/modem to the new location.

Only you can know which is easier/best for your particular situation.

ethernet cable is not feasible as it located in the other end of the house...

a wireless card? might be a solution.

what is a access point router? and can i use this to help me

Then you've answered your own question - get a wireless card installed in the PC and away you go.

Have a look at scan, aria or amazon for ideas. If your router supports wireless "n" then get a card that does the same, if it only supports wireless "b/g" then get a card to match.

You'll also need to make sure you have a compatible spare slot on your motherboard.
