Default TSOP Soldering Issue

Right, I removed the TSOP from an Ambit 250 and re-programmed it with a known working 2MB dump. I have now put the chip back onto the board, I cleaned the pads before hand, soldered the chip down and then re-flowed it, I have re-flowed about 4 times so far and it still won't come back to life. Can anybody tell me where I may be going wrong? Oh and every pin is aligned correctly because I did it using a strong magnifying glass.

what dump did you use? a .bin?

dumps taken via programmer vs via jtag/haxorware gui or max232 are different.

in your (willem i assume?) app, you load then bin the look for "byte swap" hit that then program.

I used a 2MB .bin mate. Yes, I used a Willem 4.5 programmer following a tutorial I found in downloads (the file is called Ambit 250-255 Unbricking Tutorial & Files or something like that).

byte swap and it should work as long as your soldering is ok.

I am pretty confident that my soldering is okay but I couldn't possibly be 100% certain.

did you do a byte swap before programming? unfortunately tsops are extremely hard to see if the soldering is correct.

if you did swap byte and its not working, i could upload a known working, pre swapped file.

best to pm me on sbhacker tho as i rarely check this site anymore after the trouble last year.
