Ahh, you need to set the cm_tuner. Go to the webshell and type the following:

Quote:
cd /n/h (press enter)

cm_tuner 21 (press enter)

cm_annex 1 (press enter)

write (press enter)
Don't forget to set your frequency and annex again from the Frequency page.

(thanks to sr20, he got my 256s working after telling me that ).

you've got 299 as 1st freq. it should be 331000000.

what is the 1st half of the MAC you're using?

its 00.26.5E. do I have to reboot once frequencies are saved? or wait for the scanning to finish?

its actually cm_tuner 22 for the 256.

the 256 has a BCM3421 tuner, this wasnt supported in the firmware haxorware was based off, cm_tuner 21 is the BCM3420 which worked but gave wrong signal levels.

haxorwares base firmware has since been updated and now has the 3421

if you look at older haxorwares and do:

cd n/h
help cm_tuner

you will see there was only 21 options and now there is 22

you can also look at the tuner chip on the modem to see what im saying is correct.
