Hi folks,

Just got a Euro-Vox Max (not sure what particular version) and everything was workign fine until today.

Switched it onto Pre Plus for the Liverpool and Watford game and a half 12 a message came up with somehtign about information. After that the screen went black and there was a noise similar to static. Tried switching it off and back on and now the static sound has gone but ht epicture is still black.

Any ideas? Not very good with technology!

That sounds like u had on the test page for prem+ , not the actual station that the games come on, for me prem+ on my box (eurovox max)it was on a station under the name tv6 .. frequency 499.oo . the actual prem+ station has adverts of upcoming games running constantly.

how do you get frequency 499

In your area it could be on a different frequancy , have u done an auto scan and gone in and looked in great detail at all the unamed stations i.e tv6 , tv2 etc etc , it should be in there on 1 of them .

What I get is a screen telling me of when the next Prem Plus game will be shown and when it comes to the game actually being shown, a message comes up then the screen goes black and there's a static sound. Might wait until the next Prem Plus game and try and play about with it.

As you can tell, I'm not very good with technology!

Both channels will show the games , just that the test page version goes blank when program starts, just manual scan that channel at kick off.

I take it that's easy to do? I'm useless with technology, not even trusted with the remote usually!
