Default laptop help needed

Got a acer 3410 (3 MONTHS OLD ) and keyboard issue

Type following letters and get

t=vt
p='p
space bar= j j j j
u=bu
q=zq
z=zq
v=vt
b=bu

TRIED SYSTEM RESTORE AND CHECKED LANGUAGE AND NO JOY

Have you tried control panel> clock language and region, and gone through all the keyboard options to make sure its all set to english uk .

sounds a bit like water damage that mate,
plug a usb keyboard in and see if you get the same result.

kids will be kids mate,
try a usb keyboard and if that works fine unplug your laptop from the mains and remove the battery,
leave open, keyboard facing down on a dry towel wrap it up and place somewhere warm and dry for a few days see if that cures it.

Prob not if it's water damaged but could be worth a try sending it in for repair,
they will only tell you it's an out of warranty repair and offer you a price to fix it if they can tell.
