I receive Sky in Greece using a standard Thomson Digibox. All the DVD/Hard disc recorders seem to have built-in Freeview, which I have no use for. Can I still use one of these recorders or are there any that that are more suited to my circumstances? I could upgrade to Sky+ but I would still need a DVD recorder.

Further to my query, I have now purchased a Ellion DVR-960E, which does the job perfectly.
I am able to record to hard disc or DVD from a variety of inputs including the Sky Digibox.
