how to enter latitude in on dm800

hi all,

i tried entering my latitude which is 50.xxxxx in the tuner configuration setup, however, the highest digit it lets me enter is 3, so i just entered 050.xxxx and left it as that can anybody tell me if this will work or help me correct it.

What you have entered is technically correct, as 050.xxx is the same as 50.xxx

I setup one of those at the weekend, and I'm pretty sure that I had to do the same, but didn't really bat an eyelid at the time, as an extra 0 at the front of the number is of no consequence.

Yes, it must just be sloppy programming, they probably just used the same format for latitude as they did longitude rather than limiting the lat to 2 digits before the decimal point.
