I read on WM forum that we should not click the link. Most times the page says to call VM to register modem but at other times the page reads that it has already been activated. There is a link to click that is suppose to get you online but it just loads continuously.

The program I'm using (KisMac) searches for nearby wifi connections in real-time and displays the mac address of that connection even if it is password protected, so I know these macs are 100% active.

The guy is using macs from nearby router's and computers?

There's his problem right there.

You need to scan using the correct program (not sure of the names of any for mac's) and then trade them with someone who lives 1-3 miles away. Then use them mac's.

MACs on same UBR+CPC give unreg for me now too

Also you want to be trading MACs that acctually came up with a bootfile. Can take > 24hrs to get some now.

yes also sorry if someone already said but yes u do really need to remove cable feed each change of settings really. always try n connect drect to pc first [no router] and the ip address u say is always the same are u sure ur not getting the ip adress of the nic card?
amd at 1 point i had to try over 100 macs to get a working one, and even ones the got the activation page at mine didnt else where?
though at mo im tryin to sort mine, as each mac i get to work is only lasting a few days if lucky now, long some mentioned b4, i think theres a bit of life in this gane yet just not a lot and only if ur preparred to put the effort in now!
